Customer Service Officer

Closing Date:26/03/2010
The role will be part of the customer service team. You will be responsible for attending to customer service hotline and assisting with new member connections and working closely with IT team to provide immediate support for trading and technical issues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Attending to customer service hotline and email
  • Logging all incidents and requests, categorizing and prioritizing them
  • First-line investigation and diagnosis
  • Managing the lifecycle of incidents and requests, escalating as appropriate, and closing them when the user is satisfied ; keeping users informed of the status of services, incidents and requests
  • Liaison with vendors to resolve production issues and carry out upgrades etc
  • Assisting in regular events at the exchange, like yearly BCP exercise, systems upgrade conformance test, and system upgrade rehearsal
  • Shift duty is required

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or finance discipline is preferred with around 2-3 years working experience, preferably in client service support or financial trade support
  • Capable of resolving issues, understanding the business as well as the technology utilized by the business
  • Excellent spoken and written English plus good verbal communication in Mandarin
  • Strong customer relations skills as well as good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of futures and options market, clearing and delivery operations would be a definite asset
  • Knowledge of HP Service Manager application would be an advantage
  • Initiative, self-motivation and confidence



Senior Market Operations Officer

Closing Date:26/03/2010
Reporting to the Market Operations Manager, you will assist her in the daily execution of the market operations activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execution of daily market operations activities including:
  1. Market user support and management
  2. Contract maintenance and management
  3. Trading schedule maintenance and management
  4. Order and trade management
  5. Market report generation
  6. Other related activities
  • Assist in the development of market operations policies and procedures
  • Take up internal projects as appropriate
  • Shift duty is required

Requirements

  • Degree in quantitative analysis and IT application or related disciplines
  • 5-6 years' experience in middle office in the banking and financial industry, preferably in commodity derivative trading operations
  • Strong IT application skills
  • Self motivated with good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese



Senior Marketing Officer

Closing Date:26/03/2010
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the company's membership acquisition strategy. This role will provide support to management for the purpose of marketing to potential regional customers. You are also required to perform market research, produce marketing documentation and contribute to the overall marketing strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop regional membership acquisition strategy in particular for China and Hong Kong
  • Execute on marketing and membership acquisition strategies
  • Build relationships in client facing role with potential customers
  • Manage membership database
  • Assist in tactical and strategic projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent discipline with minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing with significant exposure to China
  • Industry exposure to financial institutions and/or commodities strongly preferred
  • Possesses good communication skills, project management skills and strategic thinking
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin strongly preferred)
  • Those with less experience will be considered for Marketing Officer position

 




Network Support Officer

Closing Date:26/03/2010
Reporting to the Network Manager, you will be responsible for providing daily administrative support for corporate network, trading network and member connectivity.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide support to help desk and application support team on network issue
  • Perform daily network administration, routine health check, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support services for the installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment including routers, Ethernet switches, VPN concentrators, Security appliance, LAN, MAN & WAN
  • Participating in network and security projects, responsible for the implementation of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators and security systems
  • Deal daily with member requests for connectivity and issue relating to member connection
  • Assisting with new member connections, market access development rollouts
  • Prepare performance report and status reports

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related disciplines, preferably with some professional qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSE, CCSA, CISSP, CISA
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in large scale Cisco network, preferable within the financial industry
  • In-depth knowledge in LAN, WAN, MAN, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Netscreen Firewall, VPN, Cisco router and Network security practice
  • Knowledge of Routing protocol include OSPF, BGP and EIGRP is a must
  • Good knowledge of network monitoring tools include HPOV, CiscoWork
  • Extensive experience in operational procedures and commands on Solaris, Unix SHELL, Linux
  • Able to solve problems independently, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure and challenges
  • Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
  • Shift duty or work at times outside normal business hours on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis; be on call support for network outage

 




Compliance Officer

Closing Date:26/03/2010
Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you will supervise and carry out market surveillance functions to enforce the relevant HKMEx rules and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

  • To operate and administer the exchange surveillance system to identify potential irregular trading activities
  • To analyze trading data and market conditions to monitor HKMEx markets
  • To review reported trades, carry out necessary enquiries and investigations to ensure compliance with HKMEx rules and procedures
  • To liaise with regulatory authorities such as SFC and handle inquiries

 

Requirements

  • University Degree with 2 to 4 years of solid compliance, trading/dealing experience in the futures or financial services
  • Familiar with regulatory compliance requirement and reporting
  • Analytical and good report writing skills
  • Able to work independently and cope well with pressure
  • Shift work is required
