The Exchange's Operations & Technology Centre is located at Hong Kong's internationally acclaimed IT landmark – Cyberport. The centre consists of Operations, Technology, Development, Risk Management, Programme Office and Administrative Divisions. It is well-equipped to maintain around-the-clock vigilance to ensure the Exchange's trading systems operate reliably, securely and efficiently.
Together with Cinnober, HKMEx provides one of the fastest message transmission facilities in the market, with one of the industry's lowest latency measurements – ranging from as low as 0.7 to 3.25 milliseconds, providing crucial speed to algorithmic trading systems.
In support of the Exchange's top-of-the-line trading systems, the Cyberport office is equipped with state-of-the-art multi-function facilities for its members. It is also available to host international teleconferencing with simultaneous same-room language translation in a boardroom setting.
